Conducting psychological first aid training in Nablus

In October, Bisan Center, in partnership with the Women's Support Center in Nablus, conducted a training program to develop the skills of a psychological first aid team as part of the "Healthy and Safe Psychological Environment" initiative. This initiative underscored the importance of integrating health and mental well-being, and the crucial role of women as active partners in the field, particularly given the political and social challenges facing the West Bank, which have led to an escalation in violence in all its forms.

The training addressed various topics, including trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress and challenges, and recovery from trauma. It aimed to equip a psychological first aid team to respond effectively and swiftly to crises, while ensuring women's participation. This participation strengthens women's involvement in the psychological and social sector within the framework of support and psychological treatment, contributing to improving the psychological well-being of the community and raising awareness of the importance of psychological support in crisis situations.
